To renew or review checkouts and fines, sign into Primo :
1. Your badge must be registered as a library card
2. Use one of the two log in options available there
3. Click your name to see services. My Loans will show your checked out items and give you the option to renew.
Note: Renewals may be denied if you have exceeded the maximum number of renewals or if another patron has requested the item.

The School of Dentistry Library keeps current textbooks and board preparation materials on reserve.
If your badge is registered for library use, you may send an article request directly from the Primo (click Primo link or use the search box above), or from the special SOD Library PubMed link, also found at the tope of the Primo search page.
This service is for current School of Dentistry students and faculty/staff only.
Color Xerox Printer/Photocopier is located in the Student Workroom inside the Library.
Black and white photocopier with copy card reader is also available on the 5th Floor (SOD 5212--Copy Room).
Students must have a copy card to pay for printing/copying. The same copy card operates both machines. Purchase or add value to copy cards at the Pay Station in the Student Workroom inside the Library. Paper currency only, and no change is given.

A flatbed scanner is available for student use on computer LRC1.

Notary services are generally available 8:00 am - 3:00 pm for SOD staff and students. Please bring your valid driver license and originals of any documents needing notarization. Please wait to sign any documents until time of notarization.

The Library has four collaborative rooms available, equipped with whiteboards and monitors. These rooms are meant for study groups of 2-6 people, and may be reserved for up to 2 hours at a time.
You may reserve a room up to 5 class days in advance.
Groups rooms are for SOD student use only.
The School of Dentistry Library is a member of the Texas Health Sciences Library Consortium (THSLC). SOD staff and students may borrow print materials from the following THSLC member libraries:
All you need is your UTHealth ID badge and drivers license. Make sure your badge is registered with the SOD Library.
The School of Dentistry Library also participates in the TexShare program, a collaboration of libraries across the state of Texas to share resources.
Lending libraries typically require your UTHealth ID, driver's license, and a valid TexShare Card.
