After you have successfully defended your thesis and have received final approval of your written thesis from all of your committee members, you will schedule a meeting with Janet Fenske to submit your thesis to ProQuest.

- Send Word copy of thesis to Janet Fenske at least 24 hours before your scheduled meeting
Some things to check:
- Spell check your paper
- Check for "orphaned" headings or subheadings (heading/subheading at the bottom of a page; corresponding paragraphs begin on next page)
- To correct, add page break before heading/subheading
- Reference lists and in-text citations must be in APA 7th ed. format--be consistent!
- Journal names should be written out entirely, not abbreviated. Please capitalize each major word in the journal title. Journal titles and the volume number are in italics; the issue number is NOT in italics.
- Article titles should be in sentence-case capitalization (only the first word capitalized, plus any proper noun or acronym, and the first word in a subtitle after the colon. Article titles are NOT in italics.
